What is an APRN?

An Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is a nurse with specialized, post-graduate education and training. Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are a type of APRN and are qualified to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a variety of health conditions. Both of our NPs have achieved the experience and proficiency needed to attain Full Practice Authority in the state of Illinois, meaning they practice within their specialty and treat patients independently and to the full extent of their training.

Testimonials

-"5 stars isn't even enough stars!! I have seen Crystal and my son has seen Sarah and we could not have had a more positive experience. I have never felt so seen, cared for or understood by a mental health professional as I have with Crystal. My son suffers from anxiety and Sarah helped him truly understand how anxiety works in words he could understand. There are no other mental health professionals I trust as much as I do Crystal and Sarah."

-"I cannot say enough good things about this practice. I would recommend them to anyone. They are very kind, they listen, which is unusual these days, and they really want to help problem solve. It’s lovely to go to an office where you’re not just seen as a dollar sign. "

-"Crystal Clark is one of the best health care providers I've ever seen. She really listens to you and wants to help make your life good, not just tolerable. She deeply cares for her patients and has a wonderful energy about her."

-"My first visit with Crystal Clark may honestly be one of, if not the best, visits I have ever had at a practice. She is genuinely incredible and listens to everything you have to say."

-"Sarah is a truly exceptional healthcare provider. She provides patients with options and recommendations, she will gladly answer all of your questions in as much detail as you want, and ultimately she empowers patients to make their own choices."

- "I have loved my visits with Wendy. She is thorough and fast! "

- "We feel listened to and not rushed. We always get all of our questions answered and leave feeling hopeful and included in decisions that were made. Thank you!"

- "I really appreciate all of the time you spent and your patience with us. You were never pushy and you were always very understanding. All of the staff made us feel very comfortable."

-"Finding Sarah was truly the turning point in my daughter's mental health treatment. We finally found a practitioner that listens and takes the time to asses the best plan for her, making sure that we are heard and involved in the process. Feeling comfortable and supported to stay in touch with concerns and questions between visits has also been very helpful. This in turn has given me peace of mind to focus on being a calm and balanced mom knowing that her care is in good hands!"
